How to Make 4 Ingredient Pork Chops in an Oven
Aunt Lou here.
Earlier this year, I made these amazing 4 Ingredient Crock Pot Pork Chops. They were a huge hit. However, I know there are times when making it in the oven is a better fit for a crazy evening. So, I thought I would give the crock pot recipe a try in the oven. The results were just as amazing! Side note: I like to pair these pork chops with some mashed potatoes because the gravy is delicious over mashed potatoes.
Most of the time when I post pork chop recipes, I get asked the thickness of my pork chops or how many were in my pack. I’m not the greatest at being able to tell the measurement of something without measuring it. So, I generally don’t say measurements. However, I can tell you I used a pack of 2 pounds of boneless center cut chops that had 10 pork chops in it.
What You Will Need for 4 Ingredient Pork Chops
Ingredients Needed
- 2 lbs boneless pork chops (my pack had 10 chops)
- 10.5 oz can cream of mushroom soup
- 10.75 oz can golden mushroom soup
- 10.75 oz can French onion soup
Equipment Needed
- Medium size mixing bowl
- Stirring spatula
- 9×13 baking dish
- Aluminum foil
Time Needed
- Prep Time: 5 minutes to put together, plus however long it takes your oven to preheat to 400 degrees Fahrenheit
- Cooking Time: 40 to 45 minutes at 400 degrees Fahrenheit (Use a meat thermometer to make sure your chops reach 145 degrees Fahrenheit.)
General Notes
- Watching your pork chops closely toward the end of cooking and using a meat thermometer to know when your pork chops reach 145 degrees Fahrenheit will help you to have the most tender chops. Overcooking them will result in them being tough instead of tender.

- All ovens cook differently, so cooking times are always a basic guideline. Recipes should always be tested first in your own oven and time adjusted as needed.
